Privacy policy

Your details.
Handled with care.

This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website.

Last updated 27 October 2026. This is sample wording for the design demo and will be updated before launch.

Who we are

Northline Logistics is a fictional logistics company created for a website design demonstration. The contact details on this website are examples, and enquiries are not monitored. When the real business launches, this section will give the company's full name, address and a contact for privacy questions.

Hosting and visitor numbers

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and keep the website secure, Cloudflare handles visitors' device addresses (IP addresses).

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a simple visitor counter. It shows us how many people visit and which pages they read. It does not use cookies and it does not follow you across other websites.

The contact form

The enquiry form on the contact page is a sample. It is not connected to anything, so it sends nothing and stores nothing. The details you type stay in your browser and are cleared when you press send or leave the page.

When the website goes live, the form will send your enquiry to the team by email. At that point this policy will name the email service used and say how long a copy is kept.

What a real enquiry would use your details for

  • To reply to your question or quote request.
  • To plan your collection and delivery.
  • To keep a record of the work, so we can look after you next time.

We will never sell your details. We will only share them with people who need them to carry out your delivery, such as a driver or a partner depot.

Cookies and other tools

This website does not set cookies of its own. It does not use advertising trackers, social media pixels or embedded video. If that changes, this page will say so before the new tool is switched on.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do that, email hello@northline.example. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page whenever the website changes how it works. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
